Created sculptures(makets) from Matchsticks, must use every match and every part of the box.

 We then made sculptures from lollipop sticks, cardboard, bottle caps.

MIndmaps (part 2)

We created Mind-maps based on 'why are we here/art' and presented them in class. I tea stained the page and used acrylic paints (primary colours) with a glass jar, i tried to create the affect of an artists desk/workplace.

Mindmaps (week 1)

This week we discussed mindmaps. During the class we put groups together and made a mindmap, with the starting point of "Art". Then went through the mindmaps with the class. We were then given the task of creating our own mindmaps, based on "why are we here" (why we came to GMIT), which is to be completed by the next class.

-mindmaps are Visual diagrams, used to research and workout ideas , and show train of thought and process of how you come to ideas
