Project: nailing down visions

After watching the documentary 'the day pictures were born',

I must; 

-conduct a body of research applying techniques you have learned to date.

-as a result of the inquiry develope a concept or serious of concepts

-create an artistic statement

Newspaper article

This week we were given the task of; selecting a piece of current affairs/newspaper article.
We must expand ideas , show process and research.
The article i picked was, a man going to court for the assalt of two young girls.

Artist mind map

We were each given an artist to research, without the use of internet, the main source of research was from the library.
          The artist i had been given to researched was 'Joan Miro'. Most of my research came from books such as 'Miro' by Jaques Duplin, 'Miro/the masterworks' by George Riaillard.
We had to create a mindmap about this artist.

Spatial Dynamics

Created sculptures(makets) from Matchsticks, must use every match and every part of the box.

 We then made sculptures from lollipop sticks, cardboard, bottle caps.

MIndmaps (part 2)

We created Mind-maps based on 'why are we here/art' and presented them in class. I tea stained the page and used acrylic paints (primary colours) with a glass jar, i tried to create the affect of an artists desk/workplace.
